Texas State Ambassadors
Meet Danielle & Janice
What are you most excited about as you step into this role?
I have truly come to believe in the WoVeN mission. I am excited about increasing WoVeN's presence throughout the state of Texas and meeting with women veterans from all over the state. I look forward to fostering connections and building relationships in our local community. - Danielle (Army)
What inspired you to become an Ambassador?
I have been working with Veterans, Women Veterans, and the military community since I retired from the Air Force. The Ambassador role provides me with an opportunity to keep serving the Women Veterans community by connecting with other Women Veterans to share my experiences and knowledge. My goal is to make WoVeN a household name. - Janice (Air Force)

How do you hope to make a difference in your community through WoVeN?
I hope to bridge gaps in awareness and access by connecting women veterans with vital resources that can enhance their quality of life. I want to help guide them toward opportunities they may not even know exist and empower them to embrace their strength, resilience, and worth. My mission is to uplift, support, and inspire other women veterans, reminding them that they are never alone in this journey. - Tonia (Navy)

Meet Vivian & Kadi
How do you hope to make a difference in your community through WoVeN?
I want to create a safe, empowering space where women can share our wisdom, strength, and warmth with those who came before us, stand beside us, and those transitioning out of the military now and in the years ahead. I’m also committed to fostering partnerships with organizations that provide vital support—so that no sister ever feels alone during separation, transition, or times of crisis. - Vivian (Army)
What are you most excited about as you step into this role?
The extended veteran sisterhood network that this role can assist in providing to those who often feel that they are on an island by themselves and assure them that they are not. - Kadi (Army & Air Force)
