WoVeN Connect
WoVeN Veterans continue to seek out more opportunities to find and meet other women Veterans in person. The WoVeN Connect program addresses this need and helps connect women at the state and local level.
How does WoVeN Connect work?
Our goal is to identify and train at least two State Ambassadors per state. State Ambassadors then spread the word about upcoming opportunities (nationally and locally), share resources in each state, and help women deepen their connections with each other.
What can I expect from my Ambassadors?
- Open communication and support
- Help identifying local resources
- More information regarding upcoming events for women Veterans
- Opportunities to participant in fun events through WoVeN (e.g., tickets to ball games, speaking engagements, galas)
- Information regarding WoVeN’s national events and opportunities
