Civilian Transition is an important process that Veterans go through as they separate from service and begin the reintegration process. The resources on this page provide Veterans with support throughout the civilian transition process through a variety of services.

Boots to Heels

Introduced in 2012, Boots to Heels® assists women in the military community with the transition from military to civilian life by focusing on job readiness. Boots to Heels is a customized program designed exclusively for female veterans giving them the camaraderie of being with peers who understand the experiences and challenges they face when returning home. We provide a four part program to assist female veterans with their transition from military to civilian life. After participating in our workshops on self-esteem and interview skills, each veteran is invited to select professional attire and accessories from our upscale boutique.
