WoVeN is kicking off the recruitment race to choose the next four WoVeN cities! To bring WoVeN to your city follow these steps:

  1. Complete a peer leader application (and have your co-leader complete one too).
  2. Find a group location, day, and time (groups will start the week of October 15th).
  3. Gather 12-15 group members (with help from WoVeN) and have them enroll online.

The first four cities to enroll a full group will be established as the new WoVeN cities!

I’m interested, but what is WoVeN?

WoVeN is a nationwide network of peer support groups specifically for women Veterans. WoVeN connects women Veterans of all eras and service branches and empowers them with information, education, and resources to improve their quality of life.

Each WoVeN group has 6-12 members and is led by two women Veterans who have been trained by WoVeN as peer leaders. Groups meet weekly for 2 months. To help group members share and reflect on many different aspects of their life, each group meeting focuses on a new theme. Many WoVeN groups also continue to plan social outings to keep the group together once the 2 months of meetings finishes!

Sounds cool, but I don’t want to be a peer leader at this time.

If you’re not interested in becoming a peer leader at this time, joining a WoVeN group is another option for getting involved! Also, many women prefer to experience a group prior to becoming a peer leader. If this is you, complete an enrollment form and we’ll let you know if a group in your city is starting.
